Cancer Research Donation

On Thursday 28 November, Valley Park welcomed Sherrill Hawker, the Kent Local Fundraising Manager for Cancer Research UK, to the school. 

Representatives from Student Voice and the Senior Prefect Team were delighted to present a cheque for £1666.53 to her on behalf of the students of Valley Park. 

Cancer Research had been selected as the whole school charity for 2018-2019 and the presentation was the culmination of the students’ fundraising efforts. 

Throughout the year, fundraising events were organised and led by the Student Voice Representatives and their Tutor Groups including; Karaokes, Cake Sales, a Penalty Shoot Out, Mini-basketball and a Non-uniform Day.
