Internship Opportunity
Are you considering a career in teaching?
Would you like to gain first-hand experience of life in a secondary school?
We are offering three weeks of paid internship, this summer, spent in one of our secondary schools, so you can experience school life first-hand. The ten successful candidates must have an interest in Maths, Physics or Computer Science.
Valley Invicta Academies Trust (VIAT) encompasses nine schools – five primary and four secondary – in the Maidstone and Malling area. We are now recruiting for undergraduates from any University year group. Through this internship, we can offer:
- Three weeks paid at £300 per week, per successful candidate
- Supportive mentoring
- Continuous Professional Development (CPD) across our four secondary schools
- Engaged and enthusiastic students to work with
- Professional guidance through our experienced staff and teaching team
- Help with future applications
- Links with our Trust SENCOs, Lead Practitioners and Subject Leads
