Making leaf prints and portrait faces
Year 3 pupils from Eastborough Primary School attended a creative ceramics workshop at Valley Park on Wednesday 25 May.
The workshop was delivered by Miss Collins and students were supported and taught alongside 4 of the year 12 Art, Craft and Design A Level students.
Year 3 were excited and engaged, making leaf prints and portrait faces, learning how to use plaster moulds and create intricate imprints of leaves to create 3 large collaborative vessels for the VIAT Art exhibition in June.
The class were inspired and motivated by seeing the glazed leaf portraits made by the other year 3 class a few weeks ago.
Much team effort and collaboration took part in the 2-hour workshop producing some ambitious outcomes.
Well done year 12 and year 3. We're excited to exhibit these beautiful pieces in June.
