A Level Students attend Religious Conference in London
Fifteen of our A Level Religious Studies students attended a conference in London today, led by the philosopher Peter Vardy.
They heard a series of lectures on the nature of God, whether God can truly be good in the face of evil, free will, and whether religious language is meaningful.
The day ended with a debate on consciousness, for and against the statement, "This house believes that individual conscience is a poor moral guide."
Well done to all the students who attended today. You did Valley Park proud with your focus and participation in this event!
