Year 8 students compete in nationwide STEM challenge day
On Friday 7 June, a crack team of year 8 students competed in a nationwide STEM challenge day at the University of Greenwich Medway campus.
As part of blended teams, students competed in 4 events:
- Electric car design and racing
- Using Technology to diagnose medical conditions and perform CPR
- A robot programming challenge
- Using forensic technology to solve an array of crimes
They had a great day, worked well in collaboration with other students from different schools, and in some events came first and second place!
One team, comprising of Keira and Max, won the day overall and moved onto the next round in January.
Well done to everyone involved!
