VP Alum Visits Students

Valley Park alum, Carys Bowen, visited us today from Brunel University, where she is studying towards a degree in Product Design. Year 13 Ceramics students heard about her third year project, focusing on ergonomics, making safe and comfortable designs for people with disabilities. 

She also gave a talk to younger ceramicists in year 9, discussing with them how and why there's real purpose and intent to studying Ceramics, as it can lead into many job roles in the design industry.

Carys will be back soon to gain more work experience with students and will give some live demonstrations.
