Move-ember
In November, the PE Department launched Move-ember – an Inter-Form competition across the school whereby students and staff attempted to complete the famous John o’Groats to Land’s End challenge.
Over the course of the month, Tutor Groups attempted to Move by walking, running, cycling or swimming the distance of 874 Miles.
Padlet were set up for Tutor Groups so they could upload their Exercise Tracking Evidence to show how far they had travelled.
Famous Landmarks, such as Tintern Abbey and Cheddar Gorge, were added to specific distances and information about these were sent out each week.
From an initial target of 874 miles, Valley Park students have travelled a total of 1024 Miles.
