Year 4 pupils enjoy Ceramics Workshop
On 29 September some very enthusiastic year 4 pupils from Valley Invicta Primary School at Leybourne Chase visited us for a ceramics workshop for the first time since lockdown ended.
‘It was lovely to have the pupils in again,’ said our lead practitioner in Ceramics, Miss Collins. ‘I was so impressed with the year 4 class. They were fantastic; full of enthusiasm and engagement.’
The pupils last visited Valley Park in year 2 when they made sea life dishes, and they further developed their understanding of their current topic on UK landmarks by making coiled pots with seaside images like beach huts and fishing boats.
Students from Year 13 and year 9 enjoyed helping the year 4 pupils with their work.
