Remembrance Day 2023
In recent years we’ve conducted an isolated #RemembranceDay event and broadcast it across the site. This year we came together as a school collective.
‘These events are the moments that have a lasting impact on our students,’ said Headteacher, Mr Jones. ‘They shape and form their behaviours moving forward, not only in school but also in their wider lives.’
Students gathered on the MUGA (multi-use games area) for an address, and to watch the cadets march onto the parade square and lay wreaths. Poems were read and the last post was played by Jake from year 8, followed by 2 minutes silence.
